DocOrder.app · Last updated September 28, 2026

The short version: we use the information in your account and files only to run the service for you. We don't sell it, and we work to keep it safe. Loan files typically contain your borrowers' personal information — treat this page together with our Terms.

Who we are

DocOrder.app ("DocOrder", "we") is a software platform that lenders and brokers use to quote loans, collect documents, and prepare loan-document packages under their own brand. For most borrower information on this platform, our customer (your lender or broker) decides what is collected and why; DocOrder processes it on their behalf to provide the service.

What we collect

We deliberately avoid extracting or storing the most sensitive identifiers from documents: the document reader is built to never extract Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or bank account numbers.

How we use it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your files to train AI models or share them with advertising networks.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that make the platform run, under their own security terms: cloud hosting and storage (Render; Google Cloud / Firebase), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery providers for messages you send. Documents on a loan file are shared with the parties the file's owner directs them to — for example, a title or escrow company. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS with strict transport security). Borrower file links carry unguessable per-file tokens, sessions use hardened cookies, and each customer's workspace is scoped so one account cannot see another's files. No internet service can promise perfect security, but access to your data is limited to what's needed to run the service.

Retention & deletion

Loan files are kept durably because lending records typically must be retained for years; nothing is auto-deleted. If you want records exported or removed, email support@docorder.app from your account email and we'll act on verified requests, subject to legal retention obligations. Borrowers should direct requests about their information to their lender or broker (the account that owns their file); we assist that account owner in fulfilling them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California), you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. Send requests to support@docorder.app; we verify requests before acting on them.
